Here is a Java implementation of the feedforward neural network that models
phytoplankton primary production in Chesapeake Bay. You can download the
Java source code as well as the Java byte-code
that is called by HTML. If you want to run the model offline, you need the
byte-code and the HTML source of this page (use File, Save
As). Save them wherever you want and load the HTML file you saved with any
(Java-enabled) browser.
A fair warning: even though you can use any value in the input fields, the model provides accurate estimates only within the ranges that are likely to occur in Chesapeake Bay.
